If you’re thinking of summer camp for your kids, be sure to pick the best one. If possible, get your kids involved in learning about each summer camp offerered and comparing the benefits of each. Keep in mind that all kids are different, and each has his own special needs and desires. The camp you choose should be the best one for your childs age and preferences. Consider your childs favorite activities and things they haven’t had a chance to try yet. Perhaps they would like to try something entirely new, like an adventure camp or a digital photography camp. In addition to private camps, there are many summer camps in Los Angeles offered by the parks and recreation department, the YMCA and the scouting programs. Some of these camps may be less expensive. Get your kids involved in earning money during the year to help offset the cost if they really want to go to one of the more expensive camps. Talk to your kids about whether they want to attend a Los Angeles day camp or an overnight camp. Some kids want the camping experience, but aren’t yet ready to leave for a week. No matter what kind of camp you choose, your child is bound to have a great time!
